PrimeFare West Symposium
Last weekend, I had the opportunity to speak at the PrimeFare West Symposium in Denver, Co. I spoke on how Social Media compares to Traditional Marketing and why it is beneficial to integrate it into marketing strategies. You can view my presentation by clicking HERE.
What is your Creative Process?
Successful campaigns do not just happen. They are well thought out and strategic in planning from inception to launch. At Ray Rico Freelance, we have a great process in place that we use on all our projects. What’s yours? Inception/Initial Discovery – This is where we have our first conversation and discuss our qualifications with you and find out your needs to see if there is a match. Proposal/Agreement – This is where we propose the outline for the project and agreement. Internal Discovery – Here we start doing our research to dig deeper into your project. Discovery – Next we take what we found and meet with the client to review and get their input and propose direction. Concepts/Revisions – We take those plans and begin to concept designs, present the concepts and revise with the client. Production – After edits are made, we execute the design of the project. Walkthrough – Once the project is ready, we walkthrough with the client. Punch list – Finally, we get any last details worked out and prepare to launch. Launch – Lastly, we set your campaign or project live. Followup – Afterwards, we like to measure the success of the campaign or project and follow up to see if you have any additional needs.
Serving Community: Leadership Memphis
For two years in a row we have been happy to align ourselves with Leadership Memphis. A graduate of the Spring 2010 class, Principal Ray Rico knows the importance of promoting Memphis and how helping to retain young professionals here is. “Going through the program helped not only enlighten me about what was going on in my community but it allowed me the opportunity to make a difference.” By partnering with Leadership Memphis Ray Rico Freelance has become a resourceful resource to many of the communications you receive from the organization. Here are some things you might have seen from us.
Serving Community: Wolf River Conservancy
This year we had the rare opportunity to partner with the Wolf River Conservancy in Memphis, TN. The WRC has been a sustainable resource for Shelby County and Memphis for: • Helping residents protect natural resources and protecting habitat within the Wolf River watershed, • Spearheading the Wolf River Greenway project along the urban Wolf River, and by • Connecting residents of all ages to the Wolf River through education, competition, and leisure. Along with assisting in promotions for the yearly Cycle the Greenway event, Ray Rico Freelance has been instrumental in promoting events with our partner Memphis Orthopaedic Group as the Official Recreational Sponsor. Stay tuned for the Harvest Dinner on the Greenway event, this autumn’s premiere event. Details coming soon! We are pleased to partner not only with the Official Recreational Sponsor – Memphis Orthopaedic Group – but also with the Wolf River Conservancy.
Cash Saver saving people some dough
This May we got to partner with local grocers Castle Retail Group, who have been managing the Piggly Wiggly stores in Memphis. April 1st, owner Rick James, began changing over his concept to a discount store format. We had the pleasure of building and launching a website that works for his customers on mobile devices and tablets and seamlessly on laptops and PCs no matter the platform. Shop with Cash Saver, they’re locally owned and operated and can save you money on your food bill. I would know, I frequent their midtown store. Check out the website here.
Cooper Young’s Lamplighter
Check it out, we made the news again! This time in the Cooper Young Lamplighter. Glad to join the Cooper Young Business Association. Hoping for a local storefront soon. Wish us some luck, won’t you?
Serving Community: Common Ground
We are happy to be a part of Common Ground’s mission: Eliminating racism. Looking forward to the 4th Anniversary Celebration. My, how time flies. 4 years and we are still strategic partners.
MOG Workers’ Compensation Seminar 2012
This was the second year we got to help with the MOG Workers’ Compensation Seminar. We really stepped up to the plate this year to help the event go off without a hitch. From designing the concept to printing to helping with presentations to being instrumental in getting entertainment for the break. We, of course, couldn’t have done so without the hard work of Memphis Orthopaedic Group’s dedicated Marketing Director, Michelle Hodges. Check some of the work we did for them here. MOG gladly accepts walk-in urgent ortho care patients now… along with Workers’ Comp cases. Of course, appointments are always welcome. Check out their website here.
Madonna Circle
This year we had the unique opportunity to partner with Madonna Circle. Together we aligned ourselves as partners with their efforts in granting financial assistance to several local area charities. In return, we offered our design & printing skill to help them with their efforts. Proud to be a part of their efforts and look forward to working with this group again next year!
